Patrick Lynch is the Investigations and Incident Response Manager for the Waikato Regional Council. Patrick has 27 years experience in regulation and enforcement focussing on sustainable management of natural resources since 2002. Patrick has had an integral role in developing qualifications for the compliance and regulatory industry at a national level. He walks the tightrope of ‘working with others’ while holding people accountable for substantial environmental wrong doing and encouraging positive behaviour change. Patrick will present case studies relevant to the trade and industrial waste industry and provide some factual context around environmental prosecutions.
