The new annexe provides modern, fit-for-purpose teaching spaces. The ground and mezzanine floors, adjacent to the Lambton Quay side of the building, have informal learning and teaching spaces, retail facilities and provide a focal point for engaging with surrounding business and government communities. The lower levels are designed to be a social area, similar to the award-winning Hub at the Kelburn campus.<\/p>\n<p>\t<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed\/v1\/place?key=AIzaSyD09zQ9PNDNNy9TadMuzRV_UsPUoWKntt8&#038;q=23+Lambton+Quay%2C+Pipitea\" style=\"border:0;width:100%;height:400px\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO GET THERE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Catch the train<br \/>\n<\/strong>Wellington Train Station is located on Bunny Street. From the station, it is a 5-10 minute walk to Rutherford House. For timetable information for train contact Metlink on 0800 801 700 or visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.metlink.org.nz\/\">metlink.org.nz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hop on a bus<br \/>\n<\/strong>Wellington has an extensive network of bus routes. Routes 17, 20, 22 and 23 go either to the Pipitea Campus or to the nearby Lambton Quay\/Bowen St intersection. For timetable information for bus contact Metlink on 0800 801 700 or visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.metlink.org.nz\/\">metlink.org.nz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hail a taxi<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Taxis are reasonably priced and plentiful in Wellington. A dedicated taxi rank is located outside all venues, and drivers are very familiar with the Pipitea Campus. Taxis to and from the Wellington Airport to the central business district on average should cost no more than $25.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE TOWN<br \/>\n<\/strong>Buses, airport shuttles, taxis and limos are all lined up outside the terminal, ready to go. Taxis and Airport Shuttles offer door-to-door service and the public bus comes through every 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taxis<\/strong><br \/>\nTaxi ranks can be found directly outside the baggage claim area on level 0 of the main terminal. It might cost $25-35, but prices can vary quite a lot depending on the company. They all take VISA and master card. Taxi drivers don\u2019t expect a tip.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shuttles<\/strong><br \/>\nSuper Shuttle\u2019s shared-ride fares offer substantial discounts for passengers travelling in the same group to the same destination. Shuttle ranks can be found directly outside the baggage claim area on level 0 of the main terminal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bus<\/strong><br \/>\nAirport Flyer Bus is an express bus service that runs from Wellington International Airport to the Hutt Valley, through the centre of Wellington, on to Queensgate &#8211; Lower Hutt. The service runs at least once every 20 minutes, every day between the Airport and Lower Hutt. Airport Flyer departs from the southern end of the airport terminal, level 0 (exit from baggage claim doors on level 0 and turn right) and the cost to get to the city is $9 per person.<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\tWelcome to Wellington!<br \/>\n\t<\/h1>\n<p>Come join us in the \u2018coolest little capital\u2019 in the world.
