Site Tours

The EEA is offering the opportunity to attend one of two pre conference site tours located within the Wellington region.  These site visits will be held on Wednesday morning from approximately 9am to 12pm on 22 June 2016.  If you would like to book a place on one of the tours please do so via the conference registration form.  Please note that numbers are limited so it is recommended that you book early to avoid disappointment.  Due to the sensitive nature of intellectual and/or production technology, EEA and the Conference Organiser have the right to refuse individual registrations to the Site Tours if from a competing company.

RPS Switchgear Factory Tour

The factory has been operating in this same location since 1969 so has a very long history of supporting New Zealand and Australia with medium voltage products.

Nothing in the factory is automated, visitors can see the switchgear being assembled by the staff, some of whom have been with the company over 16 years.

We have on site the engineering facilities, VCB and switchgear assembly plants and our own resin casting plant as well.

For those wanting to get a good insight into vacuum circuit breaker assembly it would be highly recommended.
